What does it require?

In order to have a successful DMC it is required that the DMC members have:

• DMC experience. It is essential that the DMC members can evaluate incomplete, dynamic data where sample size is too low to follow any standard statistical analysis. The DMC members must also be able to separate rare signals from noise that would require the trial to stop. Cyncron DMC Unit offers highly experienced staff, who have served on several DMCs and know how to present dirty, interim data. 

• Commitment. Cyncron DMC unit has a group of people dedicated to supporting DMCs. This also includes a back-up service so that there will always be a statistician available. 

• Speed. Cyncron has a set-up, ensuring that data packages are delivered quickly after receipt of data. 

• Willingness to travel. Cyncron DMC Unit travels for meeting all around and arranges Face2Face meetings worldwide. 

• Training. Cyncron DMC Unit offers training of new DMC members.
